Call for young women aged 18-30 and who live in the riding of Ottawa South.
The Legislative Assembly of Ontario is commemorating the 100th anniversary of women’s right to vote in the province by holding an event on April 12th for young women aged 18-30
During this one-day event, young women will come to the Legislature and have the opportunity to experience parliament in action, meet prominent Ontario women and key parliamentary figures, and gain a behind-the-scenes perspective of Ontario’s parliament. The goal is to empower and inspire young women from across the province to become engaged and active citizens.
The goal is to have one young woman from each provincial riding. Applications will be accepted until midnight on March 17th: http://discoveryportal.ontla.on.ca/en/visit-us/programs/remarkable-assembly-event.
