Flu Clinics

Book your appointment here.

To avoid crowding, clinics will be by appointment only. OPH flu clinic locations are now posted on the OPH Influenza (Flu) webpage with the following fixed clinic locations.

Clinic locations:

  • Notre-Dame-Des-Champs, 3659 Navan Road, Orléans
  • Ottawa Public Library-Orléans Branch, 1705 Orléans Blvd., Orléans
  • Lansdowne – Horticulture Building, 1525 Princess Patricia, Downtown
  • Mary Pitt Centre, 100 Constellation Dr., Nepean
  • Chapman Mills Community Building, 424 Chapman Mills Drive, Barrhaven
  • Eva James Memorial Centre, 65 Stonehaven Drive, Kanata

As a reminder, this year Ottawa residents have different options for obtaining their flu shot:

  • OPH-run public influenza clinics in fixed locations. To avoid crowding and to control the flow of clients in and out of these locations, the clinics will be by appointment.
  • Pharmacies will provide flu vaccine to Ottawa residents 5 years and older, including the high-dose vaccine that is publicly funded for seniors. A map of all participating pharmacies is available on the OPH website.
  • Doctor’s offices and Nurse Practitioners in the community will continue to provide flu vaccine to their clients.
  • OPH is working hard to ensure vaccination clinics throughout the city and is identifying locations for potential mobile vaccination clinics.

PETITION
Please consider signing the petition I’ve created asking that the COVID-19 Command Table appear before before the Select Committee on Emergency Management Oversight. You can find it here:

Be Social WISEContinue to follow Ottawa Public Health guidelines, wearing a mask in indoor public spaces, wash hands frequently, socially distance 2 meters apart and stay home if you are not feeling well.

OPH recommends limiting gatherings as much as possible. In other words, limit gatherings to those who live in your household or those providing support services, such as a caregiver.  If you live alone (single parent, student, etc.), one or two contacts outside your home can be important social supports to draw on.

In June 2020, the Ontario government announced that it would offer Regulated Price Plan (RPP) customers the opportunity to choose the electricity rate plan that best meets their energy needs and lifestyle: time-of-use (TOU) rates or tiered rates.

As such, starting October 13, 2020, residential and small business customers who are billed under the RPP and want to change rate plan can submit a rate selection form to Hydro Ottawa.
